I've had out Brother HL-2450DN for years. The pages had started to look splotchy from a dirty fuser roll.
I pulled it apart and cleaned the fuser with alcohol and put it back together. It seems to be working great so far and after a few test pages the print is now great.
But when pulling it apart a spring popped out of the right side of the fuser and I was not careful to note, where it exactly came from. On putting it together there was no obvious place in the assembly to put it. Youtube videos of the process do not show it.
Please see the attached picture. Does anybody know where it belongs? The thing works but this sort of thing bugs me.
