Brother Printer And iMAC Printing Prob. ?

Hi,

Have a Brother B&W Printer, Model 2140 (I think).

When I used this printer with my old W10 pc, there was an option when going
to "Print" to change the density (darkness) of the printed copy.

Now, when the printer is hooked up to the iMAC, I cannot find any option to
change the print density. Looked everywhere I could think of.
This is true if I print from WORD or anything else.

There should be an option or a slider to adjust this when the printer is
used on the iMAC, shouldn't there be ?

None of the printer options that come up now seem to show one.
Different Print screen than the one that came up under W10.

Any thoughts on how to do this, or where it is "hidden" would be most appreciated.

Hard to say without Mac and operating system details.

Have you actually tried to download drivers for the printer? If it is the HL-2140 try these and whatever your operating system is:-
