I just received the OEM Tag Heuer band from Clockworksynergy. But as you can see, it really doesn't have the Tag brand mark, so I'm not sure if we could call it a true OEM, but their website says so.

I love the quality of the leather. However, the deployant clamp (not a buckle clamp with holes) mechanism works in a way that it squeezes the leather to keep it from sliding off. I think this would cause the leather to break in the long term. Also, try to clamp it correctly at once, since it will leave a residual mark where you've previously clamped it.

It also have a "quick-release" slider pins which you can easily remove the strap without having to remove the AW adapter. I'm not too sure about the durability of this pin. If you decide to buy more than one Clockworksynergy bands, this will be great. But just be sure to check whether you've attached the pin correctly as it doesn't make notable "click" sound. See pic #3

Another annoying thing about this strap is that if you have a narrow wrist, you'll have an extensive amount of extra strap that you may need to "tuck-in" when you put it on. I have a very thin wrist for a guy and had excess strap as you can see in the pic #4 below.

However, in overall, the looks and comfort seems to be good. I like the color, although the picture at its website looked darker. The PVD clasp mechanism and the AW adapter seems to be good quality. Only time will tell if the PVD black color will withstand wears.

Weird design...most of those type of buckle has a pin to hold the strap along with mildly pinching the band to keep it from sliding sideways. There is no pin?

Looks nice paired with the black stainless. Might I ask what you paid for the Tag Band? I might be investing in some newer leather bands for My Stainless Apple Watch models.

Did you make this compatible with Apple Watch yourself ? I can't this as an Apple Watch option on their site

Yeah. But I did do some research before purchasing and it looks like older Tag Heuer and Breitling watches had this type of clasp. Hopefully it works in the long term.

The 22mm band itself was 48.95. I had to buy Clockworksynergy Apple adapter separately for 19.95 (yeah expensive, but I couldn't find comparable PVD black adapter). If you already have an adapter, I recommend just buying the band only as it's easy to put on/off with its Quick-Release pin feature. EDIT: I forgot to mention that I used DIS15 discount code for 15% discount. It looks like it works for all purchases. I dont know the expiration date.

Sort of. As written above, I had to buy the adapter and the band separately. You can find the band on their OEM category. The product name is "Brown Perforated Rally Bands for TAG Heuer"

This is the clasp that I am thinking about using with my Classic Buckle...only if I find a way to take the leather band off the buckle!

I have searched. None match the quality of Classic Buckle. I am talking about the total package. Some are nice leather ruined by hardware. Other leathers are either cheap or too thin or too "traditional ".

Have you looked up other OEM watch brand straps? Like how I did, if you get an Apple watch adapter, you should be able to match straps for luxury watch straps from legit brands like Breitling, IWC, Tag, etc. But they'll be expensive, ofcourse

Yes. The problem is that the aftermarket "loop" (like Apple's) lug connectors are invariably too WIDE...so, a 24mm leather band still slides sideways significantly (and i have borderline OCD!!)...and almost impossible to find quality 25mm band.

I also have the lug connectors that you have as well...but to my eyes, it makes the watch longer in profile and takes the smooth soft corners of the watch away since the lugs are squarish.

That's what I plan on doing is using the adapter for a Tag Band. Similar to yours, but slightly different in style with a different clasp. Hopefully this week I will have it ready.
