So, in March it will be one year, and no I have not purchased the extended warranty...Just looking today I notice brown smudges that are on the inside of the screen...like dirt. Some googling resulted in it is somehow dirt/dust reacting with the heat or whatnot and Apple has had various issues with it. Not the dreaded grey bars or yellow ting.
I have no Apple service center nearby that I know.
How to I proceed? Also, guess I better get the extended warranty now since my time's about up. But if I don't...they try or do fix it and it returns, then am I S.O.L. or covered since it is preexisting?
