I am just new in iphone development, and i just want to browse or Lsit all the files in iphone on a particular button touch.

What do you mean by browse or list all of the files?
From what I understand you can only do this to the directories you own. Documents, application bundle, but for the most part applications are sandboxed from one another. And for your second part of your question, hook it up to a IBAction and set it to whatever touch down/up etc you prefer.
