Browser not supported

I can not send messages in Facebook. I get browser not supported. I just did an update and there are no new updates available. Please help!
Version 18.3 (20620.2.4.11.5)

Also the graphics in my email take for forever to display.

Are you talking about Safari?

If that's giving you problems, could you try A DIFFERENT Browser?

Something like:
Firefox
Waterfox
Brave
iCab
DuckDuckGo
??

Do other browsers work?
Or... does the problem remain?

Anyway, I'll say this about browsers: Virtually all of them self-update quite frequently. One definite exception is Safari. Updates for Safari come through Software Update and we all know how infrequent those are.

I only try Safari when Firefox won't do something it ought to. So…it goes both ways.

Having said all that…maybe try a different DNS setting. You can have the fastest internet ever but if your DNS is blocking or stalling services you can get clunky behavior.

Also, Apple's own security features sometimes muck up the works. All that "hide me" stuff has to pass through something that might not be playing well with what you're trying to do on the internet.

You will need to dumb this down please! What are safari extensions. Could you tell me how to get to the dns setting. Ever since the big upgrade my emails don't show images. They come down so slowly I give up.
