I have the 11 inches iPad with Apple Pencil 2. I am doing some research work and I need to browse the Internet and write down notes. When I use the built in Notes application then I have to switch between google chrome to browse and then switch to Notes to jot down my notes. Both are full screen and I am wasting time switching between the two. Is there an easier way of switching? Is there a way where I can use split screen? Or do I have to use another app to simultaneously see the web page and write down my notes with the Apple Pencil?

I'm pretty sure both apps support split screen. At least I know notes and safari do. Open up one app, bring up the dock, and drag the other app to the left or right side of the display. It should open both in split screen.
