Was the October event on Thursday shoehorned in to calm investors ahead of a bad earnings report?
I'm wondering if sales of computers (despite being a small percentage of Apple's business) has dropped so significantly, that they had no choice but to have an event.
It's not uncommon for Apple to have one in October, but moving an earnings report just ahead of it seems rather strange.
