hello

my g4 has crashed several times. i'm running a g4 400 with 10.2.4 on a windows 2000 network, i connect via SMB. i also use outlook 2000 in classic to connect to a exchange server.

it doesn't appear to be a kernal panic. first, everything frezzes but the cursor. the cursor eventually changes the beach ball, then dissapears, and thats it. takes about 10 seconds. the only strange thing i could find in the console logs is this line in the "DirectoryService.server.log":

2003-04-07 09:24:22 EDT - Plug-in BSD Configuration Files state is now inactive.

does anyone know what this means? could this be causing the crash? do i need to re-install the BSD subsystem?

any suggestions would be cool
