I am currently using a BT mouse with my MBP. Its a dell BT mouse, and it is manufactured by Logitech. ( there are Logitech logos on the components ).

The mouse works fine, but the extra features such as the side scrolling and the forward + back buttons do not work. There are no provisions to change this, or i can not find out where i would be able to change or activate these parameters.

Thanks.

any advise?

It's pretty simple, just open your system preferences from the :apple: menu and choose the Keyboard & Mouse option to modify all of your mouse button functions.

nothing there.. needed driver?

Google USB Overdrive or Steermouse; both are shareware programs that will let you program your side buttons and enable your tilt wheel's horizontal scrolling.
