Hi I currently have a late 2009 base imac and looking for a cheap upgrade. My imac has the 3.06 C2D, 9400m and 500gb HDD.
I was toying with a new imac but cannot afford the spec I want, so was thinking of getting the 2.6 i7, 16gb ram and 1tb fusion option.
I have a load of FireWire drives so it's nice to see fw still on this machine. I have a few questions though, I use photoshop cc which won't let me carry out some functions as my gpu is integrated with 256 shared ram. Will the iris pro be any better as that's also integrated? Overall will I notice the performance increase?
Also is dell 24" ultra sharp ips a good monitor choice?
