Can anyone recommend me a good budget app? I need to find out where the heck all my money is going (besides Starbucks) so I can reel it in. I'm looking for something that is preferrably less than $5 and one where the expenses are easy to input on the run. Thanks.

I've been using 'Budget' and like it. It's only $2.99. I tried two or three others but they were overkill for my needs and fairly clunky.

I'll recommend 'Budget' too, saved me a lot of money! It's got all the features I need, and offers good statistics and backup/restore of all your transactions.

I would recommend Ledger. It's great for keeping track of where all of your $ is coming from and being spent. It seems advanced at first, but it ends up being incredibly simple to use.

I downloaded about 4 of the free applications and actually got Accountr when it was free for a few days. Accountr seems to be very good and it's what I'm using right now. I just wish it could consolidate all the expenses for a particular category and give you a graphical illustration. That would have it pretty cool - but right now, all you can really do is just make a list of expenses on it. Of course, you can export data to Google docs, but I would like an illustration while not near my computer.

Here's another one that looks promising that just came out that has graphing ability. The only thing I don't know if it has is the ability to export data directly to Google docs. I know you can export data via wireless.

Wow. iCompta looks really good with all the graphical representation. Wonder if it's easy and productive to use. Hope they have a lite version that i can try before purchasing the app.

iCompta is really great. The desktop version is a freeware so you could try it. The iPhone / iPod Touch version is just as nice and it can synchronize easily with the desktop version.
