Hi

I cutomize my Finder Window as shown below, this works fine for me every time I launch the first finder window, but if I use Cmd +N to lanch a New Finder Window the window is smaller and only 2 application icons fitting across ways - this is very annoying.

1. I reduce the bar on the left (volumes bar) so it snaps back to min size that shows full volume names.

2. I set view options to:
All Windows
48x48 icons
12pt text
Arrange by Name

3. A drag the window size so that 3 application icons fit across ways.

The above Any ideas??

Try getting the window just how you want it and then close it. Now open a new window and it should pop up the way you last had it set, and further windows should as well. At least that's how Jaguar works...

Ah I've realized the problem, I'm clicking the HDD icon to call up finder then adjusting the size.

If I click the finder icon on the dock and adjust the size it has set the size for cmd+n finder windows.

Thanks for waking me up :)

Another question, is there a way to change the grid size the auto storted finder windows snap to?

Thanks again.
