Hi all,

Frequent reader / seldom poster!

Love my 14" M1 Max MBP to death but having the weirdest bug. Like elastic, it keeps snapping back to what I was previously doing, and I think it might be limited to Safari.

For example, I could open an email in Google Mail and I'll see it for a split second before I'm snapped back to the Inbox. I could open a new tab, and it'll open for a moment before vanishing again.

Is anyone else experiencing this strange elasticity? I thought I was losing the plot until someone else saw it happen earlier today!

Thanks,
mini

I have experienced Safari going back to the previous page by itself, and have noticed Apple about it.

Both my MBP14 and miniM1 are doing the same on 2 different macOS (12.1 and 12.2)
Surpised no more people here are experiencing this.
Had the compact safari view until today, switching to regular to see if its related.

It happens to me and I think it has to do with tab groups, because it doesn’t behave like that outside them. It’s like it syncs to a previous state.
