Another one that requires the user to go outside Playstore and disable multiple security settings.

You still have to agree to pretty much everything, Disable Tnknown Sources, Install the app, get warned by google that the app is malicious, disable google threat scanner, install the app, etc. If someone actually completes this step, well then, you asked for it.

Every few months who see articles like this and everytime, no actual person is affected. So convenient the articles dont point that part out. :)

Love how companies like this spend six months figuring out a bug, just so they can sell more of their security scan products to corporations using scare tactics.

And yeah it's funny that they put in fine print that no one's actually been affected by it, and that it would take user intervention to install it.
