I seem to have a bug in ios11.1 when playing music via the built-in Music app on my iPX. Whenever I lock the phone, or view notifications or anything which changes the phone’s ‘focus’, the music is paused. This never used to happen.

Of course, it’s hard to tell if this is something to do with the new iPhone, iOS or a combination of the two...

Anyone else facing this issue?
[doublepost=1509989106][/doublepost]OK, closing all open apps and restarting the phone seems to have resolved the issue...

I’m going to resurrect this one as there is definitely a bug here... It extends beyond the built-in Music app, to the Podcasts app or Overcast app. Again I have the situation where a audio playing on the iphone (IPX) is paused when I close the phone. If I restart the phone, this behaviour stops. Something, though, is upsetting the background task playing the audio and leading to it pausing when it shouldn’t.

Anyone else getting this, or is this a known issue with iOS 11.1?

I’m having an issue too. Whenever music is playing in the background, if I change app the music sorta ‘clicks’ for a brief moment and returns to normal. Does this even inside another app when loading content. Seems CPU based.

Replicated in Music, and Spotify.

Using iPhone 8 Plus - iOS 11.1

I wonder if this is the same issue I’m having. It doesn’t do it on my 8+ but when I have my X connected to my sound bar and when my screen goes to sleep the music pauses every single time. Very frustrating.

Sounds very similar. For me, a hard reset of my iPX appears to have helped...
