I’m getting an over lap on my iPhone 16 pro max, when I watch YouTube horizontally and then switch my phone back up right I get a over lap on the top, is anyone else having this issue?

Yes, I get that too. It's a Youtube bug, they need to update their app to correctly support this use case on the iPhone 16 Pro Max screen resolution.

How do you know it’s an iOS bug and not a YouTube bug?

If it was something happening to many/all apps, it would likely be an iOS bug. But if suddenly one specific app starts having UI alignment issues just on one specific iOS version and phone type, it's likely the developer didn't adapt the app to the new screen resolution. Not the first time it happens.

iOS doesn't decide where UI elements are placed, that's usually up to the app developer.
