wondering if this is intended....

My device (iPad Pro) running beta 10 was locked with a twitter notification. I did a screenshot and then shared it via messages. It let me type in the recipient and it showed me the thread of previous messages and send the text.

Anyone want to play around with this?

I can't reproduce this. Is it possible your fingerprint unlocked the iPad while you were taking the screenshot?

Settings -> TouchID and Passcode -> Allow access when locked -> Recent Notifications

I’ll have someone else try it to make sure it’s not reading my finger print.

I tried it on my iPhone running iOS 11.

Take a screenshot of the home screen.

It minimizes to the left.

Bring it up.

Hit the share arrow.

Hit messages.

Type a contact.

Backspace the screen shot out to delete it in the message window.

You can now scroll the entire message history of the person you selected.
[doublepost=1504903094][/doublepost]I tried using my pinky which isn’t registered. Seems it does read the finger print when you take the screen shot.

Watch the top of the lock screen when you do this. You'll see the padlock icon disappear and the word unlocked appear. It is possible to take a screenshot on the lock screen if you're fast or just have a wet finger but in that case the share arrow is not present in the markup screen. I've just tested this.

Can't reproduce this unless I use a finger that will unlock the phone. If I use an unregistered finger it doesn't even give me an option to share the screenshot because the phone is locked.
