iOS 13 appears to have gone backwards - trimming a video at the beginning and end no longer gets rid of the unwanted bits of video meaning it continues to take up space.

Then when I use youtube to upload my edit, it’s chooses the full video including the bits I’ve trimmed off whichdefeats the object of editing in the first place!

Surely this is a bug?

why doesn’t it give me the option to either keep the full original or just a copy of the trimmed version?

It is a change they made in IOS 13 and it is really annoying. I can't even trim a video and save as a separate video anymore (I was able to do this in IOS 12, not sure why they changed this). I sent apple feedback on the issue once IOS 13 released and have yet to get a response on it.

Does trimming a video in the Photos app take long AF for anyone else? I have the 11 Pro and you'd think with the A13 and NVME SSD it would be fast but it takes forever for me to trim any videos.
