Bug with lightning headphones?

i had my lightening head phones plugged in and then I paused to go watch a video and then when I came back later to the music app and hit play all I heard was static in my head phones. After I plugged them out and back in it's working fine.

Is this a bug.

Could be a bug, could be a glitch of some sort, could be variety of things. Is this something that you can reproduce and/or that happens with some regularity?

Only ever happened once. Might also be cause I hit play from control panel right after I was done playing some audio from an imbedded you tube video.
