Does anyone else find it annoying that when you open a new page in Safari on the iPad it defaults to the Google search bar instead of the URL bar?

When I open a page 90% of the time I want to go to a specific URL and it gets really annoying to have to tap in the URL bar every time.

Lots of posts about this...I don't know how everyone overlooked this! There def needs to be some kind of option, somewhere. I want the URL bar to be selected when opening new pages, so I can immediately begin typing the URL. On the flip side, every so often I open safari for a google search...so idk..options to either have the URL bar selected, the search bar, or neither would be nice.
