Building a Sitemap

Anyone have any experience with url's like this that say they will generate a google sitemap online? Is it really as simple as they say it is by just plugging in your URL and they generating it for you (rather than you doing it yourself)?
If anyone has any advice, i'd love to hear it.

I use this one for my site http://www.rorweb.com/rormap.htm just follow the steps and you'll be good.
