I was thinking about making an iPhone 3G from parts.
Do you think its possible? I have listed the parts:

I ordered all the parts. I just have to wait until I have everything.

The front could be a little bit cheaper! But i know eforchina.
To build an iPhone 4, 4S or a 5 is lot more!! The logic boards are around $250-400! and the glass panels are expensive.

The 5 logic board is $449 on that parts site. Screw that. And I assume these logic boards all have proper imei numbers associated with them?

It's possible but I'm building an iPhone 5 from an destroyed iPhone from AT&T and it's only costing me 40 dollars I think you should buy a broken iPhone 5 and just get replacement parts for it and you can buy the iPhone 3G on amazon new for 60 dollars
