Built-in and External Speakers?

I have an iMac G5 with some crap-Dell speakers hooked up to it.

My question is - is it possible to use the built-in speakers and the external speakers to play the same music? (for extra loud/good sounding music) In System Preferences it only allows me to change "Line out", and not the iMac internal speakers.

Nope, you can only either use external, or the built-in speakers, not both.

The advantage would be rather minimal anyway. I suggest you invest in a good pair of speakers. You can get a decent set for about $50.
