I've noticed that the built-in wallpapers do NOT resize on my 6s+ when the home screen rotates to landscape mode. But when I select any other photo to be my wallpaper, it always zooms way in for landscape mode. Is there any way to create my own background image that won't resize when rotating? See pictures below... The first 2 screen caps used the built-in wallpaper (iOS 9.1), and the last 2 used my own custom wallpaper that I found on the internet.

Make sure your wallpaper is 2662x2662 so that when you rotate the fit remains the same. The stock wallpapers look rectangular in their view but in the background they are square.

Making it square was the first thing I tried. It still zoomed in. I just tried your exact dimensions (2662x2662) to see if it needed to be that exact size, but it still zoomed in.

Thanks for the link. It confirms that others have been experiencing the same issue for over a year (starting with the older 6+), and Apple has never bothered to fix/change it.
