Hi all: I cannot find an answer to my problem via web searching, so hopefully someone here can help.

I have an iPhone 6S, and in recent months I've been getting spam texts (including from Home Depot) that typically have 5 numbers (senders? recipients?) and the last one is always an email address.

Each time I go through all 5 addies, block each one, and delete the text. I'm just wondering if I have to manually block each number, or is there a faster way by blocking them all in one step? TIA.

On and Island that is Long.
They are sent from an email so the number is usually 1-410-xxx-xxx. If that's the case you would have to block all 1000 numbers in each exchange. You could be potentially blocking thousands of numbers. However... if you ever get anything else in text from an email that too will be blocked. Sometimes I sub to via my text email and not actual email. For example: Spot The Station ISS alerts. When something is back in stock at a store online. (Text email is your phone number @ carrier text email. For example AT&T is xxxxxxxxxx@txt.att.net).

The only thing you can do is delete them. And never reply. YOu'll eventually get more. I went 10 years with a few spam texts per year then a couple years ago I replied to a couple just to have fun. Now I get spam texts 5-10x a month. The reason for so few was I NEVER put my number online and I never use it to sign up for everything. I use google voice, text free or pinger for that. My cell is only for family, friends, utilites, doctors and the such.

The sender is the email at the bottom. Block that email address and that email address can no longer send you txt.

No need to block all the other phone number recipients on the list. They won’t be replying. They’re victims too.

Aha, didn't know that. I've always blocked the four phone numbers AND the email.

The texts are all different, so different senders. So if I just block the email addy each time, there is no need to block the four phone numbers that come with it?

The only issue with that is you now block ALL incoming text emails. Including valid ones. Many legit services send texts via email. Read my reply above.

I happen to get more legit email texts than spam so I have no need to block the email gateway

Also-i'm wondering if prepaid even does that.
