Did you have any issues with import taxes... how did it work out?

With bundlebox you pay everything up front, tax, and postage.

I bought the iPad direct from apple using my own credit card just told the bank to authorise it, so only paidf postage and tax in end with bundlebox..

Mine is due between 1pm - 3pm according to Fedex driver delivering it.

Yay Bundlebox.

Cost of shipping and vat was £120 approx for the poster that asked:)

Mine's due any time now, out for delivery from local depot.

What a journey this has been over the last 10 days; China, Hongkong, Anchorage, LOUISVILLE, INDIANAPOLIS, STANSTED, Fareham.....

:)

Nice one! Let us know if there is any functionality missing due to it being a US iPad in the UK

Bundlebox are cheeky, if you think about it, because they charge you front loaded fees when they might not actually get charged them. Only a percentage of packages are picked up by customs and fee's/VAT stuck on them, so bundlebox are well and truly cashing in!

The customs / VAT charge they collect is paid to HMRC, remember they are a UK registered company.

I'm not sure what you mean. They don't charge you for the device. You buy it yourself. They merely charge their fee plus the import/VAT that *may* be levied at customs. Unless I have that wrong?

For those that have bought through Bundlebox - does the receipt you receive from them list VAT as a separate item? Just wondering if it's possible to claim it back!!

Woop mine is currently on it's way to my local depot - Doesn't appear to have been stopped by customs!
