Yes, it's true. My Intel iMac has a slight case of image burn-in. I'm not sure how it happened, but... obviously I'd like to fix it. Is there a way?
JScreenFix is very interesting... alas, it didn't fix the problem. It's really hard to notice in normal usage, though. I'm not TOO worried about it. Thanks for the link, I shall remember that for later. Most cases of burn-in are just temporary and essentially just fix themselves over regular use. However, if it's significantly worse than standard burn-in and it seems to hang around, there are many different programs that "flash" your display in an attempt to remove the burn in. I would personally recommend jscreenfix:

Post back if this helped remove the burn-in, I'd be interested to see if it does.

Awesome, I have one stuck pixel on the very far right on my monitor about 1/4" from the edge. I'm trying this now to see if it works.
