hiya .. im tryin to put several 45min avi files on a dvd.. i tried with idvd , thought it b easy but from 3 x 350mb files th final dvd was 7.7gb ; it took ages plus th dl burn time! im usin ffmpegx to convert single files to video ts then burn to dvd via toast..dead simpl an quick, th final disc is about 1gb.. can i do this simply with multiple files but without joining them so there is a menu? if not which app do i need?

merci..

I use VisualHub to create discs from multiple avi files. These are playable in a DVD player under the TV. It doesn't, however, create a menu but instead creates chapter points for each file so you can access each file quickly.

nowhere fast
Yup, toast it is. It's quite seamless, drag video into project, adjust quality if you wish, done. each video gets its own spot on the menu, which you can also customize. I'd never used toast until buying 8, but i assume 7 works just as well.
