Sorry for the basic question but my buddy owns new Imac. He is wondering how you burn a CD and keep that CD open to burn more files later? He has been complaining after he burns a CD that he is unable to take out of the computer and then add more files...Is there a way to do this

Not in OS X. For whatever reason, OS X's integrated burning still doesn't support making multisession discs. If he wants to do that, he'll need a third-party burning program like Toast.

I was wondering the the same about this. I guess I will get Toast. I miss the the option of not finalizing the disk that I had on XP using Roxio Easy CD Creator.
