I've put together a DVD in iDVD recently, but I got tired of the raw video files taking up space on my hard drive, so I burnt a .img of it and deleted the video. Now, I don't know how to get the .img to burn to a disk. iDVD won't open the .img, and I think that if I drag and drop it onto a DVD that it'll burn it as a data DVD.

Can anyone help?

I think I tried that. I went to the Restore tab and dragged the .img into the right spot, but I don't think it would accept the DVD in the destination point.

That's because it's nothing to do with restoring.

You need to select the image and burn it. Sorry I'm not on a Mac right now so can't be more specific. Look in the menus for burn image.

Restore is for restoring your harddrive from a backup.
