Burning BR M-Disc

Hi there,

I want to buy an external LG Blu-Ray burner to archive some data.
I've read that I can use the built-in MacOS feature for burning BRs.
Is that true for M-Discs as well?

Can I read BR M-Discs burnt by Mac from a Windows Machine?
(Never had a BR burner; but e.g. for CDs there was the Joliet / Mac format mixup...)

Or can anyone recommend a Mac App for burning blu-rays?
