I am burning a DVD on to a rewritable disk and it is taking for ever. I have been wating 4 hours. its 1.5hours of raw footage. Why is it taking so long!
Thank You

WOW you didnt read the packaging didja!?

DVD-RW is the slowest thing to burn, remember how all CD burners had a nice fast rating for burning but a much slower one for re-writing? Same thing with DVD-RW

my guess is you got 2x or maybe 4x at the best. So its going to take an hour or more to finish, maybe longer ive never burned a DVD-RW but I know of them.

I preume you're using iDVD to do the creation/burning of the DVD? iDVD takes a few hours to render the video before it actually starts burning, so this might be the time you're talking about.
