Burning Man coverage??

I've heard there is some wifi at Burning Man. Has anybody used the iphone there and if so does it work anywhere on the playa or do you need to be right by the source?

I've heard that as well. Some have brought wifi to the playa as a gift for others, but I say leave your phones and computers at home. The playa is so much better without people walking around on their phones.

Man that would be too annoying seeing people on their cell phones. I was just thinking if I could check my email every now and then to make sure my old cats at home were fine. I have no interest in talking to anyone or using it anymore than that.
