iPod Burning purchased items

I just tried to make a copy of an album i've purchased via Toast titanium. I wouldn't let me and said i can only use itunes method of backing up. What is this method and can it be done for just one album as an example?

I believe you create a playlist of the things you want to burn, right click on the playlist, and select Burn to Disc. You'll be limited to how many times you can burn the exact same playlist.
