So i have a DVD+R dual layer disc, that i burnt a .dmg file to on my PC using Nero...
(I just put the actual file on there so there is not any confusion as to if I acutally burnt the program from the .dmg (because we all know nero can't do that))
and it suddenly wont read in my Powerbook...
I've read it before in this machine, and now when i put it in, the drive just mashes around for a bit and then spits it back out at me. I put it into several other machines around the office here just to test, they all read it fine, even a 4 year old imac we have laying around that has a DVD drive reads it...

Any ideas?
My drive in my PB is the Matshita DVD-R UJ-825

I didnt read your post, but going by the name of the thread and the last line you posted, your drive is a -r drive, and you burnt a +r disk. clearly that would be your problem.
