When i changed my desktop background to a solid white,
i saw a patch on 1-2% of brownish on my iMac screen(right corner)...
Although it is only slight area and not visible if you use other color theme,
It is still annoying to the eyes and my mind that the area is there!
I just bought it on June this year and i already encounter this~
Anyone encounter the same thing to their LCD?

I have not noticed anything similar on mine. I would call Apple or take it into your local Apple store and see what they have to say about it.

turn the screen off and make sure there is no dirt on that spot when screen is off. if that doesn't help, it could be defected panel and u shoud call applecare to see if they can swap it out

it's not dirt for sure... i clean it a number of times... but it won't go..
I have to bring it all the way down to get it checked...
& suffer 4 - 5 days without a Mac...:(
