Yesterday I took some burst mode photos. Today I went through and checked the ones I wanted to save to my Mac using the iOS Photos App "Select..." function. The individual photos show up as expected on my iPhone 5s.

When I connect via USB to my Mac, and use either Image Capture or Adobe Bridge, the burst photos do not show up, except maybe one of them (probably the one iOS was displaying before I selected multiple images from a burst). So say I have a burst of 15 images, only 1 is showing up even though I "selected" all 15 and all 15 show up in the camera roll.

The only way I've found to get those photos off is to use Dropbox.

The photos were taken in iOS 9, and today, I think, I updated to 9.0.1. Not sure if that was the cause.

Is this happening to anyone else?

Eric

Hmmm...when I import Burst photos into iPhoto, you can select the different photos as you normally would on an iOS device, within iPhoto. Do you see the option up there once you've double clicked into the original photo? I forget what it says, but it's almost identical to selecting a burst frame in iOS. There's also a 'Burst' album in iPhoto.

Edit: sorry, I see you did not mention iPhoto.

The Mac Photo app seems to have the same problem (the unbursted iOS photos are not showing up).

Burst photos which I took a week ago and saved them out on my iPhone are showing up normally. I seem to be having the problem just with the ones I took yesterday, for some reason. Maybe because I took them under iOS 9 but saved them individually under 9.0.1?

I just took another test burst right now, selected them all on the iPhone. Neither Image Capture, Photos, Adobe Bridge/Photo Downloader see the three photos, just a single one.

So it does not seem to be related to upgrading. Maybe a bug in 9.0.1?

I found a better workaround then Dropbox, iExplorer on my Mac, which allows me to copy off the photos folder from my phone over USB.
