How would I set up an iPhone for a small business that would only send iMessages and SMS messages but not receive?

Would messages sent to the number be not delivered? Is there an auto reply feature stating that phone cannot receive messages?

Essentially I want one way communication with specific customers.

Thank you

  1. Start the Settings app.
  2. Tap "Messages," then tap "Send & Receive."
  3. In the "You can receive iMessages" section, your phone number should have a check mark beside it. If it's not checked, do that now and check to see if you can receive messages.
see if this helps!

Thank you for your response I will try now! I appreciate it.

Your first post said that you want to only send messages from the business phone, but not receive any messages.
Is that correct? If so, wouldn't you uncheck any listing under "You can receive imessages to and reply from"
