So here I am on my G5 iSight and my screen has a yellow tint on the left hand side. I never really noticed this until I started reading these threads regarding this yellow tint issues with the new iMacs.

So I'm wonderin' if those that have sent their iMacs back multiple times in an effort to find one that does not have any yellow at all.........how futile that may be considering that their screens may turn yellow anyway after some use.

Kinda like wonderin' why you make your bed in the morning if you're just gonna mess it up anyway in another 16 hours. lol

It was probably there from the beginning. You just never noticed it until you looked for it.

These iMac forums have a lot to answer for :D

Had my imac for over half a year and no "extra" yellowing as of yet, I do check periodically, since I was told by apple I could bring it in once to exchange it. The day it gets worse is the day I return it.

I'm sorry, but I'm finding these "Yellowing" posts somewhat tiring!

OK, it's apparent that a few have a serious problem with their screens. These obviously need sorting. However, in my opinion, the large majority of complainers don't really have much to complain about. In fact, they seem to be looking for problems! The same thing was evidenced with the reception problems on the iPhone 4 (particularly on this forum!) - fortunately this has now diminished.

Nothing in this world is perfect. How many people have an application which features a pure grey screen?! How many, when looking at a full-page photograph can see those subtle variations?

Let's just enjoy our iMacs and try to be less paranoid.....
