I running on Mac OS Catalina version 10.15.1 (beta). When I look for new updates in software upgrades (the app that check for both OS and apps) I saw that the button to check for new updates has been disappeared, please see attached screen dump.

How do I get the button back?

There is no button. It will automatically check for update when you open that system preferences panel.

Thanks for your reply. OK, then I know. I just going from Mojave to Catalina and in Mojave there was an "check now" button.
