Button Problem

I have had my macbook for about 4 months and this morning when I pressed my track button (i dont know what else to call it) it made a weird clicking noise. Has this happened to anyone else? What should I do?

of course I meant it was making an abnormal clicking noise. The the best way I can describe it is like the clicking in this video... HELP?

Mine tends to make a really loud obnoxious click after I haven't used my machine for a while. Man, it is SO loud, I am afraid I will wake up the others in my house

That should be an easy fix through Apple. It's connected to the entire area around the keyboard, so they'd just replace that piece (the same piece w/ the old discoloration problem).

No, that'll be covered under your warranty. I just had the same problem fixed on my Powerbook...very easy fix.
