Buy a MacBook Pro in November?

Hi all. Im new here, been reading the forum for a while though. Ive decided that im gonna jump in and buy a mac and have been looking at the MacBook Pros.
A lot of people of speculating a complete MacBook Pro overhaul next year, and i dont want to buy one to then see a new upgrade come out a couple of months later.

I know products get upgraded, that dosent bother me, but i dont want to drop £1000+ for the laptop to be upgraded a couple of months afterwards. How likely do you think this is?
