Hi all,

So no updates to the Mac Pro at WWDC. I was contemplating trading in my 2015 Macbook Pro (maxed out specs) for the 6-core 2013 Mac Pro for about $2800 (and then sell the Macbook Pro for about $1800). I need more RAM capacity specifically. Alternatively, I was contemplating building out a PC slave machine for ~$1000.

Thoughts?

Cheers!

If you need it... Yes. I personally am going to get Pc workstation and nMP 2013 6 core myself. At this point, I don't think nMP is old...sure 4 years old but still going at it.

Yep! I would have returned it for a refund, but I am outside my 14 days.

Sadly unable to view your post - what is the price?

Still feels strange to pay so much for a 2.5 year old machine, when a PC slave costs $1000 and has USB-C and runs Skylake processors.
