Buy AirPods for Christmas?

Hello there, I've been watching and analyzing some reviews about the AirPods recently, and I think they are a really good product, so I'm looking foward on buying them for Christmas. The thing is: they were released some time ago, and that might open the possibility of new "AirPods 2" coming soon. So should I wait until they release the V.2 Airpods or buy them now? I would take advantage of the current AirPods. There is zero indication that a second-generation AirPods will release anytime soon. I don't believe the AirPods will be on an annually released Product.

But even if there was a second-generation version of the AirPods to release, that's how technology is, once you buy one thing, the next product is already slated to release without you knowing about it.

I Have owned them since they launched back in December 2016. They pair seamlessly with the iPhone and the battery life is excellent. The best part about AirPods is not just the battery life and features/capabilities, but how well they actually stay secure in your ear. I Literally forget I am even wearing them. The audio also is decent.

I would say that if you are interested in the AirPower charging thing than maybe wait. I would imagine the new AirPods would include a new case that is compatible with the charger.

Otherwise, go for it!

The updated case mentioned at the September event isn’t even out! I’d guess a year before AirPods get a real update. Others have given the reason I love them so I won’t belabor the point. But they are one of my favorite new tech products and the best general headset I’ve owned. Unless you have a very particular requirement (High fidelity or complete waterproof) get them.

Just to chime i; sometimes newer isn’t better. My example is the iPhone 6. I’m sure others can give you various example in Audio, TVs, Cars even hair cuts. Look what kids are doing these days. its been a year and there are very few complaints. They do the job, not every feature under the sun, they don’t sound outstanding, they don’t have bells and flashers.

Electronic product replacement soon，so my suggestion is just wait for the "AirPods 2". And if it need too long time, as Christmas is coming, maybe you need buy it recently.
