My APP still do everything I use them for after 3 years, no need/desire to upgrade for me ...

I'd buy the AirPods Pro 2. You've got at least a year AirPods Pro 3, and that price is pretty much the best you're going to do.

I would buy them only because of the feature they announced recently on the WWC
They announced this feature where you can answer or decline phone calls by nodding or shaking your head.

This makes me feel like they're going to remain for a little longer.

To me at least, this is awesome, and the reason I bought the AirPods Pro 2 myself. To be fair, I had no AirPods before this, but in my opinion I feel like they'll take their time in releasing the AirPods Pro 3

Already did it yesterday.

I have the APP 1st gen also for almost two years. $169.00 was just too good to pass up. I love the new features. IMO they sound better, and also have better noise cancellation. My AirPod Pros are edc and I do not go out of the house without them. Music is my favorite form of entertainment, and while the AirPod Pros may not be the best, they more than satisfy my sound requirements, and the integration into the iPhone is outstanding.

I definitely would get them if I was you.

I'm making the switch (back) to Apple after using Pixel devices for the past year and in the same boat.

I've seen the reports that Airpods Pro 3 aren't coming out until 2025 but also noticed a few shops in the UK seem to have the Pro 2 on sale which almost looks like they're getting rid of stock before the new ones are released
