I use Affinity Photo on my Mac, and I'd I'd like to buy Affinity Photo for iPad while it's on sale. I have an iPad 4, which is unsupported, but I'll be buying a new iPad in the near future. When I try to purchase the app on my iPad 4, it says, "This device is unsupported -- cannot download," and that's the end of it. I contacted Affinity support, and they sent me a link to an Apple page telling me how to buy apps from various Apple devices. It didn't answer my question. Is it possible to buy an app and download it later? It's only a $10 savings if I buy Affinity Photo on sale, so it's no big deal, but I'm curious if this can be done.

Have you tried buying it on your Mac via iTunes?

I can't believe I didn't know that you can purchase an iOS app from a Mac via iTunes. I'd never done it before. Thanks!
