Hello Everyone! I'm buying an external display for my Macbook Pro Retina 15" mid 2015....

I think a Dell 4k p2115q would be a good choice...but unfortunately I'm on a budget, and was thinking maybe about an Acer R240hy Bidx...but not sure if that will be a great loss of quality for me?
Any experience with that?
Any other advice?

I use the display to work on illustration and sometime animation....

Does your MBP have a discrete GPU. If not, you will probably notice lag when driving a 4K display

It has an Intel Iris Pro...you would advise me not going for a 4k display?

I've got the same MacBook Pro, and have it connected to a 40" 4K Monitor (Philips BDM4065UC). The Iris Pro drives the monitor in 60 HZ without a problem for web browsing, youtube, and movies. Without a discrete GPU it can't handle intense gaming. Illustration work is fine though.
