If I buy an iPad in the USA an then take It back home will it work?

Will there being any speed different? Or network speed different?

Or power issuess? When changer it ?

It will work fine just make sure if your getting a 3G model that you get the model that will work in your country, which will most likely be the AT&T version.

There will be no difference. Either get a Wifi or if you live in a country with GSM networks (which most countries use) then get the AT&T 3G model.

Yea, don't buy the Verizon version. It won't work (easily) anywhere outside of the USA. Well, Wifi would work, just not 3G access.

Buy either a plain Wifi model, or a AT&T 3G model and it will work outside of the USA in most (but not all) places. Where are you from? Guessing Asia.

What makes you think the OP is from Asia? And CDMA is actually used outside the US, for example in India (population 1.2 billion). Don't be so narrow-minded.

So get a wifi or 3G ATT as verizon will not work as the others said although they are still in very short supply in the US so you will have your work cut out getting one!

India is Asia.
Just not the Asia you are thinking of.
Don't be so PC and wrong at that.

It is funny that many Indians don't believe their country is in Asia. It's like they are in their own continent.

Since you can't replace the SIM card in the Verizon model, it's a moot point. Don't get it.

i bought my iPad 1 in the US and had no issues bringing it back, though i had them get it up and running at the apple store so i could use it on the way back, bypassing paying out import tax at heathrow when i landed :D
