Hi all

Now that I'm working from home and with a lot more Zoom meetings, I need some AirPods as my MBP is docked on the side, and wired headphones won't reach. When it comes to the AirPods, I much prefer the in-ear design of the AirPods Pros, however I can't really justify them right now as I'm not commuting (which is when I'll use the noise cancelling).

Given that I'm having to shield at home, is it worth getting the AirPods 2nd generation now, or are there rumours that there are new AirPods or AirPods Pros coming out soon? From what I've gathered, AirPods pros are due out in 2021, at which point I'm hoping things have settled and we start commuting again, at which point I'd also sell my current gen AirPods and get the new AirPods Pros, or should I just get the AirPods Pros now?

Thanks all!

I am also a Home Office Workes and I have all generations of Airpods and I am using them Daily since release of the first gen for WebEx, Teams and Zoom Meetings.

I first tought that I will use the 2nd gen more because they are more comfortable but I was wrong. I am almost only using my Airpods Pro`s. With the Memory Foam Tips I can have them in my ears the whole day without any issues. Most of the Time I am using only one Airpods and I have the option (Use ANC with one Airpod) active. Very helpful for me.
